ANDRIA BAYER
Clinical Manager/Occupational Therapist
Andria Bayer owns and manages Rehab New Zealand. She is a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist who leads and provides clinical support to an extremely strong team of practitioners. She has been providing social, vocational and educational rehabilitation, including for complex cases, at all levels in the wider Auckland region for more than eight years. Her extensive experience in social rehabilitation assessment, paediatric assessment and housing modifications has been instrumental in Rehab New Zealand´s success with ACC clients to date. She was the recipient of the 2006 Occupational Therapy Post Graduate Scholarship which she used to complete an Inclusive Design Course at the Otago Polytechnic Occupational Therapy School. In 2008 she successfully completed a Post Graduate diploma in Rehabilitation awarded with Merit from Otago University. As an outstanding business leader and clinical manager, Andria Bayer brings second-to-none skills and experience to all Rehab New Zealand´s clients.





PAUL BAYER
General Manager
With outstanding communication skills, a strong customer services background – and the ability to manage a diverse team of highly qualified professionals – Paul Bayer is Rehab New Zealand´s extremely competent General Manager. In this role, he manages to combine an ability to see the bigger picture with an acute attention to detail. He is people-orientated – from clients to members of staff – and provides support where required at all levels. As an experienced business owner, Paul has a comprehensive set of management skills that provides Rehab New Zealand with firm and stable foundations from which to develop and expand.





DONNA FEA
Operations Manager/Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist & Exercise Physiologist
Donna Fea provides her management skills and clinical skills as the operations manager and cardiac rehabilitation manager. She has a Diploma in Business Studies, Post Graduate diploma in Health Sciences majoring in cardiac rehabilitation, Post Graduate certificate in resuscitation, holds advanced cardiac life support level 7 certification and is currently completing further Post Graduate training in medical technology in the field of cardiology. She is also experienced in training clients with wide range of co-morbidities including diabetes, obesity, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, orthopedic and soft tissue injuries. Donna was the trainer for one of the 4 participants in the television documentary ‘Fighting Fat’. Responsible for the initial development of the Auckland Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic run by University of Auckland whereby she developed processes and protocol for the successful implementation of a Phase II and III cardiac rehabilitation programmes and trained the post graduate students in the practical aspect of clinic and patient management. Set up specialised wellness programmes and cardiac rehabilitation services in Auckland Central . Responsible for the design and management of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programmes including layout of facilities, emergency procedures, staff and ongoing training. This included other wellness programmes for obesity and diabetes. Has organized and been the main speaker at community health seminars in exercise and cardiac health. She is licensed to use the Flinders Model of Chronic Condition Self-Management from Flinders University in Australia, Master Level Coach through the International Coaching Effectiveness Programme and is a smoking cessation practitioner through the National Heart Foundation.





ALISON BURFORD
Professional Advisor/Occupational Therapist
With 25 years of community-based occupational therapy experience behind her, Alison Burford provides a deep understanding and knowledge of rehabilitation that will add significant value to Rehab New Zealand´s clients. As professional advisor, she uses her outstanding levels of expertise to help Rehab New Zealand therapists in their professional development through mentoring and supervision. She is responsible for quality management within the organisation, and is committed to ensuring consistently improving service provision.





HIRIA KAYES
Executive Assistant
Recently appointed executive assistant to the Rehab New Zealand management team, Hiria Kayes´ role encompasses broad administrative duties which include assisting with accounts, policy maintenance, business development, report preparation and diary management. She provides PA and secretarial support to management team. Hiria brings a strong background in office management and executive assistant roles and most of her work has been within the health industry including working for the board at Capital and Coast District Health Board, and for Disability Support Services at Victoria University, Wellington.





BRONWYN NESDALE
Advanced Senior Occupational Therapist
Bronwyn Nesdale is an extremely accurate and thorough assessor with a reputation for making objective, timely and sound recommendations. She has acquired her expertise through two decades of working as an occupational therapist in a broad range of environments. Her practical knowledge is complemented by her ability to deal confidently with all types of people across diverse cultures, and often in distressing circumstances.





DANIELLE PAULING
Senior Occupational Therapist
An empathetic and compassionate listener, occupational therapist Danielle Pauling is committed to working closely with her clients to create rehabilitation programmes that reflect personal goals for recovery and independence after injury. She has a background in paediatrics which has given her extensive experience of working closely with families and extended families to create workable solutions that speed client recovery within the context of their home and lifestyle. Her clinical knowledge is complemented by her ‘people’ skills which help her create effective relationships where clients respond to advice, and make the changes required to aid recovery and re-establish independence.





HADIDJAH ZWART
Senior Occupational Therapist
With excellent diagnostic and assessment skills developed over two decades, Hadidjah Zwart has the expertise to ensure clients receive strong support and individually-tailored programmes to help re-establish their independence. She has extensive paediatric experience which enables her to assess quickly the needs of children and their carers following injury. She has a background in psychology and diverse work experience including work with clients requiring pain management. This includes work in drug and alcohol services and voluntary work in impoverished environments and teaching. Hadidjah brings to our clients a valuable insight into the psychosocial impact of injury and the provision of workable solutions.
